paintcakes4kids@gmail.com
I will generally offer 2-3 in class workshops per year.  If you have a group of students who are interested in learning how to carve stone I would be happy to arrange a workshop just for you:)
Please send me and email, paintcakes4kids@gmail.com or call or text me at, 780-244-0953.

Below is information on how to arrange a workshop for larger groups.

Arrange Your Own Workshop!

If you are a home schooling family, school board, support group, or any other kind of group:) and you would like to have me come to your location to do a workshop I would be happy to travel up to 1 and a half hours from Edmonton to do so.

Carving workshops are approximately 4 hours long.  Timing is flexible, though, 10 am until 2 or 2:30 pm with a short lunch break seems to work well for most.

Minimum class size is 12 - 15, depending on location, and maximum class size is 30. (1-2 parent or teacher volunteers will be required for larger groups.)

Children and adults of all ages are welcome.  Though, because it is pretty physical work and requires some focus I don't recommend it for kids under grade 1.

Cost is $44.00/participant
Includes, instruction, stone, tools, final varnishing and hand out.

This workshop promises to be fun for everyone and everyone will go home with a beautiful piece of art they can enjoy for years to come.  (It also makes a beautiful gift for someone special.)

Did You Know?
All school boards, including home school boards, have funding made available to them by the Alberta Government to encourage and promote aboriginal arts and culture. I have had groups use this money to subsidize there families workshop fees.
